PAUL TAYLOR
Executive Producer
With over a decade of experience in unscripted development, Paul Taylor has created over 100 hours of television. He is known for such shows as the HGTV mega-hit Home Town, the Real Screen award winning No Demo Reno (HGTV), Mom and Me (HGTV), Holiday Cookie Builds (Cooking Channel), Off the Grid On the Beach (HGTV), Selling the Big Easy (HGTV), the paranormal show Ghost Loop (TRVL) and Unboxed with Nikki Chu (Aspire) among many others. Prior to launching Lucky Stars, Paul was the Head Of Development for Essential Media and Entertainment, a global 100 production company. Paul also worked in development for RTR media, based in Toronto.
KATELYNN WALKER
Development Executive
Kate began her development career at Essential Media and Entertainment where she helped create its award winning slate of programming. Kate was instrumental in developing Ghost Loop (Trvl) and Selling the Big Easy (HGTV), personally discovering all on-screen talent. More recently, Kate worked at Evolution Media where she managed their diversifed unscripted slate. Kate is legendary for her ability to discover and nurture new talent.
SIMONNE OVEREND
Head of Development, Scripted
Simonne is Head of Scripted Development for the US slate. Prior to joining Lucky Stars, Simonne developed and executive produced TROPPO for ABC Australia and Amazon Freevee. She previously held roles in film and television development, production and distribution in Australia, Singapore and Paris and London.She has worked in development for a range of companies, including Essential Media, BBC4, IWC Media, RGM, December Films and Village Roadshow. Simonne is also the Industry Chair of Australians in Film, an LA-based organization for film and television professionals working in the US.
